SQL Tips #9 - Listing Stored Procedures by Change Date

When you want to know what changed recently on a database, listing stored procedures by their modification date is a quick first check.

The Query

SELECT [name], create_date, modify_date
FROM sys.objects
WHERE type = 'P'  
ORDER BY 3 DESC;
